“SIN’S DOMINATION”

Sin can work it’s way into anyone’s life regardless of age, race or economic status. What ever form it takes, it always tempts us to choose our own way. Rebellion is harmful AND addictive. Repetition of sinful behavior lead to more of the same until we are at a place we can not stop! A pattern of disobedience always begins in our mind. There’s always deception which comes from our Enemy as we tell ourselves there is no harm in what we’re doing! After all others are doing the same.

The demand of sin will keep increasing but it’s benefits are only short-term! As sin goes on,  our cares and concerns for others diminish and our feelings of guilt can lead to self-destruction.

The Bible says in Titus 2:11-12…”For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in the present age.”

Faith in JESUS will set us free from SIN’S DOMINATION. The Holy Spirit will enable us to say no to habits that control us. The struggle may be fierce but in JESUS the victory is assured. Help us Lord to become who you want  us to be through the Power of your Holy Spirit!

My Mother and I recently visited The Villages, FL for a very special getaway at beautiful Lake Sumter.  If you have never heard of The Villages, you must check it out! Developers created an action packed retirement city. And even if you don’t play golf, you will still enjoy the vast entertainment Town Squares, fine dining and shopping.  Most people travel via golf carts in the serene environment on specially built golf roadways. What a blessing we shared during our trip to Greece and then Israel. The tremendous blessings and sense of the power of God surrounded us during this wonderful trip! What a joy for me to sing at the worship service at the Sea of Galilee!

DAVID’S DESK

Spring 2015

5255978791_07ea58b733“The Lord inhabits the Praises of His People”  When God led the Israelites out of bondage we read in the book of Exodus Chapter 15, nearly 1 million Jews sang the Song of Moses. This was man’s first song of thanksgiving and praise unto God, for the “Lord had brought them out!”

The last song of praise will be when the Saints of God sing around the throne of God for all eternity, singing the “Song of the Lamb!” Only the Redeemed can sing this song of praise. “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord if you have been redeemed!” Let those refuse to sing who never knew our God.

My friend, it is praise that proceeds and follows every victory. Did you know that there are as many calls to prayer as there is to sing in the Bible? Have you got some problems today? Try this…pull  some of the groans out of your prayers and instead, throw in some Hallelujahs!

Praise the Lord!  What a blessing it was for me to help The SmileFaith Foundation with a benefit concert at First Baptist Church of Port Richey.  This outstanding ministry helps to provide dental work for those in needs while sharing the message of Jesus Christ. PraiseFest

Several years ago, after attending an impartation service with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, the Lord gave me a vision for an exciting outreach to South Florida. These past few years of preparation for Praisefest 2013 have been bitter sweet. Through the trials and spiritual warfare, God raised up a team of believers who believed in the vision to unite the Body of Christ in the public square. What a wonderful time of praise and worship we shared in downtown West Palm Beach! Thousands of believers converged at the Meyer Amphitheater to praise the Lord in the public square! All of the proceeds from this great day went to benefit “Feeding South Florida.” Chicago’s Dr. Lemmie Battles headlined as my special guest!

For all of you who supported and believed in this vision I say thank you. To Gofeeding_southFL_logo be the Glory! DSC05287
